Our Method
How a product gets on the list.
Most deal sites publish everything and let you sort. We publish almost nothing. A product appears here only after it clears five thresholds, and we write down the evidence for each.
1. Useful
Would a sensible person use this for years? Novelty, bundles and “cheap because nobody wants it” do not qualify.
2. Verified price advantage
We compare today's price against a comparator we name on the page: a 90-day median from our own tracking, the manufacturer list price, or the typical price at authorized sellers. We do not repeat a store's own “was” price.
3. Quality
Hands-on time where possible. Otherwise, enough long-term owner reports to be confident it holds up. If we are unsure, we say so, or we skip it.
4. Merchant reliability
Authorized sellers with a clear return window. No grey-market imports, no marketplace sellers with a thin history.
5. Actually available
We check stock at the stated price before publishing and record the time in UTC. After 48 hours the pick is marked as needing a re-check. When the price goes back up, it moves to the archive as expired.
What we always include
- Why we picked it, in plain sentences.
- Why you might skip it. Every product has a reason.
- Who it is best for.
- The comparator and the verification time.
Zero is a valid number
If nothing clears the bar, the homepage says so. We do not fill the gap.
